It is my great pleasure to recommend Jesse Magana for the CCCEOPSA Scholarship. Jesse has impressed me with his intense focus and commitment. Despite several challenges he faced like homelessness and becoming a young father, he maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. Jesse graduated in Spring 2018 and will commence a new journey at UC Berkeley where he will be majoring in Economics. As he transitions to Berkeley, there is no doubt in my mind that he will continue a strong work ethic to accomplish his educational objectives.
